Rochelle Thorne

Rochelle was a CIO working for the Australian Government in national security, leveraging 35 years ICT knowledge and experience.  Rochelle worked across 5 government agencies in her APS career including Centrelink, Defence, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Department of Human Services and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.

 

As an ICT professional with a strong service delivery focus, Rochelle has led the development and implementation of key government projects such as Point of Sale Concession Validation at Pharmacy, Centrelink Student Online Claim, NT Emergency Response Basics Card, Centrelink E-Health Infrastructure Uplift, 2011 ABS Census Applications, Defence Infrastructure Transformation and the ACIC’s National Criminal Intelligence System.

 

Rochelle has also led ICT Operations for Defence and the Department of Human Services managing large commercial contracts and budgets, Program Management Offices, and SAP transformations.
