Lindsay is a distinguished professional with experience in senior government roles, industry collaborations, and parliamentary engagements within the Australian context.

His contributions in ICT public sector healthcare as an SES Band 1 include spearheading Big Data Management and development of performance data, earning recognition with a Big Data Innovation award. Lindsay also led the design and implementation of the $ 113M Clever Networks procurement program to fast-track the adoption of broadband technologies to support emergency services, health and aged care and the education sector.  Lindsay was responsible for the team designing and implementing the Governments anti-spam initiative including the preceding consultation process and parliamentary scrutiny, the Spam Act and related implementation initiatives.  He was then seconded to the OECD in Paris to develop an anti-spam toolkit for countries to adopt. Under the Management Exchange and Training Scheme Lindsay was seconded to Bridgestone Australia where he led a project to rationalise the three different payroll systems across their business units into one.

Noteworthy achievements also encompass the successful management of major defence acquisitions such as Project Echidna and Project Nulka, along with leading the $113M Clever Networks program, resulting in an Australia Day achievement. Lindsay's global acumen was demonstrated during his tenure at the OECD in Paris.

Post-Australian Public Service, Lindsay's versatility manifested as a lobbyist and consultant, contributing to pivotal projects like the National Integrated Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System and the Unique Device Identifier initiative. Presently, he dedicates efforts to advancing climate goals through innovative projects in marine-current power generation and carbon-neutral iron production.

Known for his innovative approach and adept problem-solving skills, Lindsay held instrumental roles in various government departments, including the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Health, Defence, and Communications Portfolio. His skill set encompasses effective communication, public policy development and implementation, technological adaptation, and bridging the gap between government and industry.
